PS Plus is also available for subscription, but it can get very complicated very quickly. There’s no way to pay months or a year in advance with tiered price cuts (at least officially). Xbox Live Ultimate combines the two, offering access to the EA Play Library (a similar game-on-demand service) and Xbox Live Gold for $15 a month. Game Pass is available as a subscription for console, PC, or both. Obviously, we have to stack these two services on top of each other. Right now, it looks a lot like Microsoft’s Game Pass: for roughly the same amount, both get access to a Netflix-style library of games on demand.
